Local authorities can now register with CYCLEVIA.

Since taking up its duties, CYCLEVIA directly funds waste oil collection operations.

On 6 July 2022, after having registered nearly all collection-transfer station operators, the producer responsibility organization announced that it now covers all of France and is therefore able to offer free collection nationwide to professionals. This step forwards has been made possible thanks to the trust shown by stakeholders and their commitment to fostering a circular economy and a high-performance industry.

Since 1 September 2022, local authorities, who play an essential role in improving the collection process, can register with the producer responsibility organization and retroactively benefit from free collection in both mainland France and the French overseas territories (from 1 January 2022). To do so, they must contact one of the collection-transfer station operators referenced with the producer responsibility organization.
