CYCLE 2022: CYCLEVIA’s first activity report

We have the pleasure in sharing our first activity report with you!

CYCLE 2022 is the first editorial event that we wanted to establish with the sector’s stakeholders, direct or indirect, pubic or private, as well as all the voices that share and uphold convictions of a more circular economy and the development of more sustainable, socially and environmentally responsible human activities.

This activity report provides a comprehensive review and explains our activities and the results obtained during our first year. We talk about markets placements as well as waste oil collection and treatment, but that’s not all. We also take a look at eco-design which guides our activities, our projects, our studies and opens up our sector to a fascinating journey paved with promising solutions.

In this document, we pay particular attention to local authorities, essential allies for collecting waste oils from private individuals and in our search for recovering the last litre. Special attention is also paid to the overseas territories, where the situation is often problematic and requires a good understanding of local problems and the deployment of specific solutions.

Another topic: communication operations by CYCLEVIA. If these meet an operational need (accompanying implementation, spreading the word about initiatives, etc.), they also meet a regulatory reality with practical expectations, particularly in educational terms. This activity report devotes a chapter to this.

Lastly, as the first year is a special year, we recall the origins of CYCLEVIA, its creation, on the forces in play and on collective work which resulted in our public authority approval on 23 March 2022.
